Terms and Conditions

We want you to be delighted with your Mindfulness Centre experience, however sometimes circumstances change.

These terms and conditions form a part of the Mindfulness Centre enrolment/purchase agreement with you and apply to all courses, training, services and products from Mindfulness Centre and through Mindfulness Centre staff and associates.

See below for terms and conditions relevant to you. Each section has been written with you in mind, to give you the information you need and to allow us to meet our financial commitments.

Introduction

There are three documents which cover the services and information offered by the Mindfulness Centre. These are available through the links at the bottom of the www.mindfulnesscentre.com website.

This document – ‘Terms and Conditions’ outlines the terms you agree to when purchasing from us and the terms for rescheduling or cancelling your purchase.

Privacy and Confidentiality explains how we protect your privacy and what information we collect about you.

General Terms

Enrolments / Purchases


Enrolments/purchases are confirmed upon receipt of the full fee or a booking fee, unless otherwise agreed in writing with Mindfulness centre.

Tax Invoices


A tax invoice/receipt will be issued after payment with our ABN on it. Please print this off and keep for your records. Thanks!

Event Changes by Mindfulness Centre


Mindfulness Centre reserves the right to change event dates, venue, speaker, presenter or hours if for any reason it deems it necessary.

In this event, Mindfulness Centre is not liable to issue a refund or compensation for course fees, accommodation, airfares or other associated costs.

Event Cancellation by Mindfulness Centre


If for any reason its management deems it necessary to do so, Mindfulness Centre may cancel an event. In this case Mindfulness Centre will refund the total fee you have paid for the enrolment/training and Mindfulness Centre will not be liable for accommodation, airfares or other associated costs.

Refunds


If a refund is due to you, we will process it within 10 business days.

Courses and Workshops

Cancelations or Rescheduling


Establishing a course or workshop takes a lot of time and incurs a variety of expenses. We need to ensure that we know numbers well in advance in order to have the right size venue and the right number of staff for the right number of people enrolled. We also need to meet our financial commitments. If you want to cancel or reschedule your enrolment, our refund/cancellation policy is as follows:

4 or More Weeks’ Advance Notice

  • To reschedule: Free*.
  • To cancel: 75% fee refund, less $50 administration fee.

2-4 Weeks’ Advance Notice

  • To reschedule: $25 administration fee*.
  • To cancel: 50% fee refund, less a $50 administration fee.

Less than 2 Weeks’ Advance Notice

  • No available cancellation or reschedule options exist however a substitute participant may be registered in advance of event commencement for an administration fee of $50.

*Please note that if you choose to reschedule, fees will not be refunded, however they can be credited towards any other Mindfulness Centre services.

Completion Term for Packages and Rescheduling


Credit must be applied to a service occurring within 1 year of initial payment. No credits will be given for enrolments not completed within this time (please note that if there are no further courses in your area you may need to travel in order to redeem the credit).

Failure to Attend


If you fail to attend a seminar in which you are enrolled your enrolment will be forfeited.

How to Reschedule or Cancel


Email outlining the event you are enrolled in, and whether you wish to cancel or reschedule.

Contact us by phone if you have not received a response within 2 working days. This will ensure the correct receipt date is noted and that email delivery has not been hampered by any technical problems which may occur.

In House Training

Bookings are confirmed with a 50% non-refundable deposit. You can pay by cheque, direct debit, online, or by phone with credit card.

Balance


The fee must be paid in full by course commencement.

Tax Invoices

Cancelations and Rescheduling

4-6 Weeks’ Advance Notice

  • To reschedule: If you change the date you will incur an additional fee of 10% of the full fee.
  • To cancel: Deposit is forfeited. If the full fee has been paid, 50% of the full fee will be refunded.

2-4 Weeks’ Advance Notice

  • To reschedule: If you change the date you will incur an additional fee of 15% of the full fee.
  • To cancel: Deposit is forfeited. If the full fee has been paid, 50% of the full fee will be refunded.

1-2 Weeks’ Advance Notice

  • To reschedule: If you change the date you will incur an additional fee of 25% of the full fee.
  • To cancel: Deposit is forfeited and a further 25% is payable. If the full fee has been paid, 25% of the full fee will be refunded.

Less than 1 Week’s Advance Notice

  • Full fee is payable with no reschedule or refund options available.

How to Reschedule or Cancel


Email outlining the event you have booked and whether you wish to cancel or reschedule.

Contact us by phone if you have not received a response within 2 working days. This will ensure the correct receipt date is noted and that email delivery has not been hampered by any technical problems which may occur.

Refunds


If a refund is due to you, we will process it within 10 business days.

One to One Services

Counselling, Coaching, Supervision

Services are to be paid for in advance, or on the day. No accounts are offered.

Cancellations within 48 hours will incur 50% of the fee, cancellations within 24 hours or failure to show will incur the full fee.

Packages

Package elements are subject to the usual terms of conditions of each of the individual elements, as outlined on this page.

All package elements must be completed within 1 year of package payment.

Products – Books, CDs, DVDs

Books and CDs will usually be sent within 7 working days. Delivery will only take place after payment has been made in full. If you haven't received your order within 12 working days, please contact us!

If any product is faulty please let us know and return the faulty product. We will send a replacement within 10 days of receiving the faulty product.
